Le Mans Disaster of 1955 (8:33)
I recently watched Ford v Ferrari, which is actually a pretty good movie, and was inspired to make this video. I consider myself a big sports fan, so I was surprised to have never heard of the Le Mans 24-hour race.
I did some research and quickly found this story, where an accident killed over 80 people and injured hundreds more. "How?: I wondered. After reading everything I could, I was shocked to find video of the crash. This is where all that research came together.
Our Story
As you can probably tell, we are not professional videographers here at Doc Rounds. I do want to learn how to create professional videos, this section is where I'll put my best attempts. Please let me know if you have any content ideas and advice/tips/critiques on the editing. As of now, I'm using Openshot Video Editor, Audacity, and OBS Studio, all free programs. As a beginner, each video probably takes me 10-15 hours to edit. And I love it!
